Six Suitable Tracks review from Beat

After being away so long, the Meanies'd wanna make damn sure their recorded comeback is worth the wait. But, you trust 'em, right? Even if their sound isn't exactly the Meanies of old (they've slowed things down and popped things up a touch), there's enough familiarity here to make these six tracks instantly accessible - and yet, there's also enough newness to warrant the boys coming back in the first place. Dance in the Tornado, for example, is a kick-ass little ditty with chunky melody, a swirling chorus, unexpected structure, and lingering effect.
